Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) helps Narrative users (“you”) to use the Narrative Service and behave in ways that facilitate the proper operation of the Narrative Services and the environment that Narrative seeks to maintain for its users. This AUP may change as the Narrative Services evolve, so you should check regularly for updates and changes. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this AUP have the meaning given in the Narrative Terms of Service or other governing contract between the parties.

You will not (and will not permit any third party to):

a) disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer or use any other means to attempt to discover any source code of the Narrative IP, or the underlying ideas, algorithms or trade secrets therein, except to the minimal extent such restrictions are expressly prohibited by applicable law,

b) use the Narrative Services in any manner other than in accordance with the Documentation,

c) encumber, sublicense, transfer, rent, lease, time-share or use the Narrative IP in any service bureau arrangement or otherwise for the benefit of any third party other than your customer(s) (unless expressly permitted in an Order),

d) copy, distribute, create derivative works of, localize, port or otherwise modify any aspect of the Narrative IP,

e) use any Narrative IP or Narrative Confidential Information to create any similar or competitive product or service,

f) use the Narrative IP in any manner that is illegal, fraudulent or misleading, including by creating or maintaining any inauthentic or fraudulent accounts, or

g) interfere with or attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Narrative IP.
